I feel like Ito junji´s works are quite a bit difficult to adapt into anime since he always draws his mangas so detailed. it was a fine episode.. enjoyable too. Im waiting for Uzumaki though and i hope the waiting will be worth it

And honestly I think the black and white fits the eerie vibe more than having a fully colored anime.

Junji Ito said himself that he wanted Studio Drive (I think that's their name) to animate Uzumaki

I'm one episode 4. It's alright, but I think Ito's work just works better as manga. Because you're not forced to set your own pace, Ito's technique of using page turns to hide horror imagery doesn't really work. I'd say this is a better watch for people who aren't already Ito fans. It's a 7 out of 10 so far
